GOLF FITNESS PROGRAM
 

Each year golfers spend millions of dollars on equipment in order to improve their scores and hit the ball farther. Unfortunately, this equipment just helps them hit the ball farther out of bounds!  Few golfers spend time improving their fitness level, which actually makes the biggest difference in hitting the ball longer, straighter and more consistent.  Professional golfers all have “efficient” golf swings, which means

they are able to swing with more power, less effort, and increased consistency. The Athletic Development Center uses scientific research to improve the golfer’s fitness level, thereby carving a more efficient swing.

Research performed by the Titleist Performance Institute has identified common movement patterns amongst the elite golfers in the world.  The Athletic Development Center utilizes similar 3D motion analysis to compare your swing to the top pros.  We then perform functional movement screens to determine if your “swing faults” are the result of physical limitations in strength, flexibility, balance, or power.  Based on this information and under the guidance of a Physical Therapist/Strength and Conditioning Specialist a safe and effective exercise program is prescribed for the individual.  We also work with PGA teaching professionals so they also understand their client’s physical limitations.
